Also, totally biased opinion here, but August weddings are awesome. But that could be because I got married in late August… wink

(Also, I think everyone is nuts for giving you a hard time for thinking your significant other might be waiting to get his tax refund before buying a ring.  That is a completely rational thing to do.  It would be irresponsible to buy the ring on credit and expect to pay it off with a tax refund you hadn’t calculated whether or not you would get.  But you never planned to do that.  An engagement ring can be any price you want it to be.  Why wouldn’t he wait to see how much money he has before buying it?)

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this. My fiance and I are experiencing something similar and it really sucks.
