I have no idea what to do… I can’t pick a place for our wedding and now my future hubby thinks we should have a destination wedding. I want a beautiful wedding at the beach, over looking the beach, on the sand beach in view. Anyway I’m just not sure what to do and I don’t know why I am so indecisive, I usually know what I want but this time it’s soo different. Any suggestions what made you all decide what you wanted??

The only reason we didn’t go with a destination wedding was because we had family members we knew couldn’t make the trip and we couldn’t imagine not having them share the day with us. I also wanted a good party with lots of laughing and eating and dancing!
It’s been a lot of work though! And I’ve thought back to “why didn’t we just go off and get married somewhere fabulous?” But I know the day of I will be happy everyone will be around us. Close your eyes….how do you imagine your day? Pick something, and stick with it.

I wanted a Destination Wedding, but my husband’s mom doesn’t fly, so that made it kind of impossible. Also, I really wanted my grandma to be there, and she barely leaves her house so she would never step on a plane. I think if you’re ok with a smaller wedding, it would be fun to go destination.

Where are you located? Can you do a beach wedding in your area? We got married in church and had our reception on the beach but it was not a destination wedding.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I guess I’m okay with a smaller wedding but would like mor than 15 people there about 30 would be good.
@Slicey 19 – I live in California and I have seen so many venues but they all have trade off. We almost decided to do everything on the sand at Dana Point but the tent fees ect. would end up being such a hasle.
I guess I just have to do what you said Sparkles_10 and stick with whatever I see in my mind.
