It’s probably nothing serious but go to your gyno for a checkup.

It could be a lot of things. Have you been sexually active in those years between? Were you relaxed or tense? Were you adequately lubed up? It’s probably something simple, but it never hurts to get a check up either.

It could be as simple as he scratched you with a fingernail or a bit of period spotting?

If you don’t have any other symptoms and it doesn’t happen again I wouldn’t stress, but if you have any concerns at all get checked out.

princessamber :  It could be nothing, but worth a trip to your doctor. You can never be too careful with your health down there!

Is he big, are you small? Was it period spotting? Theres many reasons it could happen, most of which are harmless. If its not a recurring issue I wouldnt go to the doctor over it.  If it is recurring during regular sex then go to the gyno and mention it.

Have you (and he) been STI tested? If not, definitely do that since bleeding can be a sign of some STIs, and you’d want to get it treated ASAP if that were the case. That said, it’s probably nothing.

I am in a LTR but there are times when I’ll bleed, usually right after sex when bf and I haven’t had any in a while (we both are extremely busy and have different libidos). If you have been inactive for those years you mentioned it’s probably because of that. If it was just a little right afterwards, I wouldn’t be too concerned, but do keep a close eye on it-if it doesn’t go away/gets heavier at all, get to the doctor.

If I am not wet enough (either lube or naturally wet), I will bleed after having sex.

If you haven’t been active in those three years your vagina probably tightened up quite a bit. I haven’t bled during sex since I lost my virginity (almost three years ago) but if I go a few weeks without sex it takes a while for me to loosen up.
