So I need to start working on my ceremony programs soon, and I want to make sure to have all the prayers and everything written down, for all to read.
However, I’m confused, as I thought a nuptial mass was the same as a full mass, just with wedding components added. But in the “Together for Life” book, I don’t see all the prayers usually said during a mass…like the Apostle’s Creed, for example.
Are the things in the booklet the only things that will be included in the mass, or am I supposed to know where the other prayers go????

@luli29: Assuming you’re in the US, the creed is only said on Sundays and solemnities, so neither creed would be said on a Saturday. However, a Mass that starts after 4pm on Saturday is considered an anticipation Mass for Sunday, so you may be required to perform one of the two creeds.
I don’t have a copy of “Together for Life” at home, but here’s a good online reference with all of the prayers: http://www.catholicweddinghelp.com/topics/order-wedding-with-mass.htm TfL should have everything in it, as well.

Thank you CoffeeHound.
I did not know that the creed is only said on Sundays!
My wedding is on a Saturday at 2pm, so I guess it won’t be said. Good to know!
