So, I’ve been to my share of big, formal weddings where recessionals are basically just the opposite of the processional, but our wedding will only have 30 people and it’ll be on the beach–so about as informal as it gets! I feel like having a regular recessional would just seem awkward since there isn’t exactly a church door to exit from, and after everyone walks back up the aisle, theyll all just mingle with the guests immediately afterward anyways. Any ideas on what to do for a small wedding recessional like this?
Also, I can’t figure out when the signing of the marriage certificate happens..

We are having an outdoor wedding also and haven’t quite figured out whether or not we are going to have any music or not. And I hadn’t even thought about signing the marriage certifiate-Doh! That’s the most important part of the day!
I’ll be interested in what the other bees have to say.

Heck, I was just worried about making it down the aisle, now I am worried about leaving? I figured FH and I would waltz the way we came and the others would follow. It is an outdoor wedding and not terribly formal.

Maybe just you and the FH could be the "formal" processional! My sister was also married at the beach and they went and then everyone else followed in pretty much the same order, but not as part of the formal processional.
