Hi, most of the reception sites that i looked at have this 21% service charge…that means i don’t have to tip all the staff/coordinator MORE right??
do i have to include in my budget tips for DJs, photographers, videographers, and florists? or did the bajillion dollars they’re charging me to begin with sufficient? if not, whats the protocol? 15%?

if I remember correctly, my DOC told us that it is entirely up to you to tip the service professionals who do not already have a gratuity included in the contract. If you feel they have done an outstanding job, than a suggestion would be 10-20% of the service.
We tipped the photographer, hair dresser, makeup artist, coordinators, band members and ceremony musicians. The latter two, we actually sent gratuities after the wedding since we wanted to wait until after their services to see how much we would send.
It ends up being a fairly large chunk of change, but if you budget for it appropriately, than you won’t feel surprised.
