@aperta:  That ball gown is absolutely breathtaking! You could wear anything and pull it off with that figure, but that first dress makes you look magical.

OMG the first one is so gorgeous! My vote is that one.

The problem you will find is that you are going to look stunning in anything you wear because you are blessed in the good looks department.  If you are looking for something that takes your breath away then it’s hard to see how you can go past that ballgown. It really does it for me.

I love the first one if I had to choose between both of those.

One suggestion to help you decide, what type of wedding will you have and are you a big dancer? I tried on many styles like the mermaid / fit and flare at first and my maid of honors first reaction was “but can you rock out to the Ramones in it!?” And the answer was no. I wanted to party and rock out and move freely without restrictions and a soft ball gown was the best for me.

Definitely the first one! I don’t like the mermaid on you

@aperta:  I’m actually a fan of the corset top look and I choose it for my dress, perhaps it’s where your from but it never occurred to me to be too revealing at all, as far as I know no one else thought so either. After all what is the other dress really concealing any more than that – a few inches of shoulder? Maybe I’m a little defensive here but I think that look is beautiful and you shouldn’t be ashamed to be seen as a grown woman (but of course it’s personal choice).

Waist down I like both styles of dress but the first one just looks a little better to me, I think it’s just the particular dress.

@aperta:  Ballgown all the way!! As others have pointed out, your fantastic figure means you’ll look great in any silhouette, but when else will you have the chance to wear a ballgown dress like that?! The shape looks gorgeous on you. Whatever you go for I think it should have sleeves, the sleeveless doesn’t look as flattering.

@Turtles:  I think the problem with this particular dress is that the lack of lining, plus the lace pattern, make too strong a contrast between the three sections – it’s not that the dress is more revealing than the other, it’s just a bit ‘busy’/unfinished looking compared to the other.  Although the dress shape looks amazing on OP.

@aperta:

Yes l agree with pps the problem is you would look great in anything! I don’t really like the second because the lined bit in between the two unlined bits makes me think of those fifties style undergarments that had suspenders hanging off the bottom to attach stockings to, sorry . The shape is wonderful on you of course. The first is a lovely big dress, but perhaps better without sleeves ?
Do let us see what else you are considering .

I get that you paid for em and want to show them off, but both of these are very… booby. The second one is literally a (see through) boustiere with a (see through) skin tight skirt. Is that what you want your grandmother or boss to see you in? If so, good for you, own it, but for me personally its a bit much. I do agree with pps that your waist looks great in the first one. I’d book an appointment at another salon and get some more options.

Also, not every part of life is like tv. Many (most?) women dont have that SYTTD moment. Id wager even most people ON that show dont actually have it, they just have to play it up for the cameras LOL.

@jellybellynelly:  Are you implying the OP had a boob job and and then shaming  her for it?  Wtf?

You look stunning in both! But I lean towards the ballgown!

I think the second one is too revealing, and both are very busy looking with all the lace. With your gorgeous figure, you will look stunning in any style, but I would look for something simpler and more elegant, so more of the focus is on you.

Love the mermaid shape on you. It really accentuates your amazing figure.

Hate that 2nd dress though, the covered bit just reminds me too much of spanx.
