(Closed) Confused: can you put this slumber bear in new baby's cot?

@Mrsluckywife:  You could try putting it on a chair next to the cot for the first few months so that the baby is safe.

No expert here, but from everything that I’ve read, nothing should be introduced in to the crib until after 9 – 12 months (blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, etc). I’d suggest talking to your OB or pediatrician (if you’ve already chosen one) before buying- at least that’s my plan!

Don’t you love all the worry that comes along with a new baby? =)

I’m a nurse and this is adivce I gave to all new moms. You’ll miss the toys more than baby!

When my younger brothers were babies this helped them sleep tremendously, so I recomend buying it, but don’t put it in the crib. Leave it right next to it where it won’t easily fall into the crib.

Alternatively, there is the sleep sheep, it has velcro on the back to velcro it to crib bars.  We velcro it up near the top, so (1) she can’t reach it, and (2) it’s not sitting on the floor of the crib.  

We have used it every single night for 7 months.
