The town hall sounds lovely.  My concern is that if it’s on a weekday, will people be able to make it to an early wedding?

I think 12-6 might be a difficult time for a lot of people. Once you factor in any travel, getting ready, etc they’re pretty much going to have to take off an entire day of work. I know for myself and Fiance sometimes that just isn’t possible.

How many people do you plan to invite? My concern with the reception during the day is it would require all your guests to take the day off, and it being so close to the holiday season people may have other travel plans. If it is a smaller wedding then that shouldn’t be a problem. The town hall sounds lovely but remember whenever you decide to hold the wedding weather could be annoying… All I can keep thinking about is the October weddings in the Northeast that had to deal with the huge snow storm! Sorry its a tough choice but both options seem nice!

I think that weeknights are tough to begin with, but starting any earlier than 5 or 6 is asking for trouble.  I know that it’s a lot cheaper, but you’re basically demanding all of your guests take a full day off from work, more if there’s travel.  I didn’t vote in the poll, because my selection would be “probably not attend.”  Sorry 🙁
