(Closed) Confused–what do i do with these place cards?

Some people use a chart or favors to let the guests know where they are sitting and just have the place cards at their seat. You can put the name of your guest and the table number on the placecard, if that is what you choose to do, and use them as your favor and also to let your guests know where to sit.

Looks like what you have is placecards, which are different than escort cards.

Placecards sit at a table and show each individual guest which seat to sit in.

Escort cards, usually placed together on a larger table, indicate a guest name and table number. They’re used to “escort” guests to their tables.

The place cards usually only have the name of the guest on them. The seating chart would provide the table number and then once the guest is at that table, they search for their name. If you aren’t having hosts/hostesses to direct guests to their tables then I am sure you can add the table number right below the name and it will look just fine.

These particular cards from Michaels are folded so they will stand on their own! You could write the table number on the front or inside to use them as escort cards!

I will be using the exact same cards, I am putting the couple’s names and the table number on the front and photosharing information on the inside of the card.
