Girl: Fiona Kay or Vivienne Kay
Boy: Julian Alan or Jude Alan
I am pregnant right now with a baby girl due in July, we just decided she will be Fiona Kay. I’m still keeping Vivienne as an option for if baby #2 is a girl, she will most likely be Vivienne Joy. 🙂

Ooh yay I love baby names!
Boy – Cameron Ewen
Girl – Alba Margaret
We love Scottish names, Cameron is Mr Scottie’s grans maiden name, Ewen is his grandfathers name. Alba is Scotland in gaelic and Margaret is both of our maternal gran’s names. I also love ‘flower’ names like Lily and Holly.

Lucy Frances and Jack Desmond.
FH loves the name Desmond and I hate it, even though its my father and grandfathers middle name!

We have quite a few names we like save in a list on my computer, but if we were forced to choose right now, we’d probably pick
Malcolm Robert Charles
Amelia Lily Francoise
For some reason we like double middle names. Robert and Charles are family names on DH’s side and Lily and Francoise are on mine.

love the name Zachary!!!!!! thats 1 of 2 possibilities for us! and love your incorporating your dads name in there <3

Thank you! I just love the sound of it. And yes, paying homage to our families is definitely important to us. 🙂 DH’s dad’s name is Jeffery, so that will likely be our second boy’s middle name, if we are so lucky to have two!
I tend to be a big fan of names with Z and X in them, as well as ones that aren’t SUPER popular, but without going into really wacky territory. So I also really like the name Dexter, as does DH. However… I’m a little bit nervous of our potential future son being associated with a TV serial killer, LOL… That said, we probably wouldn’t be naming a kid Dexter for several years from now, unless we were to have twin boys off the bat or something. So by the time we need to name a second baby, the association may have dissipated quite a bit – or we could change our minds altogether!
I really need to get moving on the girls names, though! Two sets of our friends recently had girls, and they’re Shea Lee and Kennedy June. I really like both first names (and Leigh as a derivative of Lee), but I still haven’t come across anything that has struck me and stuck with me the way Zachary and Dexter have. Another friend is having a baby girl today (yayyy!) and they are naming their little princess Grace (forget the middle name), but that’s a bit too flowery for us. Beautiful name, just not our style.

i love Dex too!!!!! such a cool character name without being crazy. i thought the same thing about my friend naming her baby Hannah – but whose gonna remember hannah montana when she gets to school lol. so i wouldnt worry about that!
I also love Declan (goes with both our irish heritage) and Cameron.
girl names are hard ay. we love Ella, McKenna (apparently thats a bourbon brand though so no thanks) Michaela, Georgia and Rosa.
So hard deciding. are u TTC? were not – for a few years anyway
