Ahh, my best friend just named her son (boy #3) Declan! They’re very Irish too – last name starts with McG. And that’s really funny and true about Hannah, because as I was reading it, I had no idea where you were even going with that! And then I was like, OH, yes, Hannah Montana, right. Total afterthought. So you’re absolutely right.
I do really like Ella… I also know that I like Rae as a middle name, but as with the boy names, I prefer to pick middle names with family meanings, and Rae has no significance to us. It’s just a name I like. Hmmm…
Not TTC yet, but soon! I’m running a half marathon in April and a 15k in July. I keep telling people that I don’t want to be puking for 13.1 miles (or 9.3), so we’ll start after that. 🙂

Lydia is such a beautiful name! And I love the way it flows with Lynn as a middle name. Also, I was a camp counselor the summer after my senior year of HS, and I had a troop of 4-year-old boys. One of them was Harrison, and he was the absolute sweetest little boy. So that name has such a positive connotation for me. I dig your choices. 🙂
Copeland is awesome! Has it traditionally been a first name or a last name in your family?
Thank you! Yeah, training pretty darn hard! I’ve been running four days a week, including increasing my distance every weekend, and then doing one workout per week that’s more strength-based. I do hope it helps with my future pregnancy and delivery! That would be an added bonus, for sure.
I would kind of love to see everyone’s reactions if we kept the name a secret and then pretended to pick Oprah, Madonna or Elvis. That has the potential for some pretty awesome hilarity!

Alice Primrose (or Primevère, I can’t decide if I prefer the English or French verison better.)

@In the media:
My younger sister’s name is Ema Irene. 🙂
A woman I know named her son Camden and I secretly always thought it sounded like a girl’s name! I love Camden Rose… it’s really pretty!

It was my great grandmother’s last name but my uncle and cousin were both named Copeland as a first name.
Glad you like it, I of course think it’s an awesome name.

Well this is fun!
Girl – Liriel Rose
Boy – Alexander Christian
The boy name always stays the same – DH and I just like Alexander, and Christian is DH’s name (it’s his family tradition to use the dad’s name for a middle name).
For the girl, it’s always changing 🙂 Actually, Rose is a perpetual favorite of mine for a middle name. Liriel (Liri) is a charater in a book I’m reading right now.
