So, I bought my dress awhile back. And while I still love it, I was looking at photos of me wearing it (unaltered, unpressed, with crappy hair) and am second guessing myself.
Now, I’m wondering if I should go back and try it on, just to see if the “love it” feeling returns (and the photos should just be deleted until the dress is perfection) or if I should try on some other dresses to see if I like something more.
Complicating things even more is I have a lot of personal things going on right now, so I’m not 100% sure it’s the dress I don’t want, or it’s just one thing in my life that I can exert some control over. I’m guessing it’s the later, but I also don’t want to be too down-to-the-wire if I actually want something else.
Any advice on what I should do?

I say go with your gut and trust your first instinct. It’s like test taking. You put down the answer that feels right but when you go back and analyze every answer people who change answers later find out they should have stuck with their gut. It’s hard because you are constantly flooded with images of wedding dresses during the planning process so it’s easy to look at everything and think that maybe there is something better. I say you go try on the dress after you get your hair done or a massage or something so you can go in feeling positive and take some more flattering pictures to look at. I think you might be more bothered by the other personal things you mentioned than you realize. Best of luck!

Thanks clane616! I’m 99.9% sure it’s still THE dress. My mom just finished my veil, so maybe we’ll swing by this weekend to try everything on together.
