I got my ring from there and it has been great– it is very well made and I’ve had no problems. You can get it cleaned and serviced at a local jeweler when needed without a problem. Fiance found their customer service to be super helpful and ended up driving to the airport to pick up the ring from the Fed Ex cargo area (you need a signature for home delivery and he couldn’t be home– you van do other pick up lovations as.well. I heavily reccomend them.

We got not only my e-ring but also our wedding rings and a few other pieces over the last few years. Their customer service is great and the value is awesome.

While I’m not in Canada, my husband ordered my ring from Blue Nile after it being highly recommended by several of his coworkers.

In terms of service, it was excellent & he didn’t have any problems.

In terms of the quality, we were very pleased. They are very detailed about the specs and send you all the GIA certs that are also very detailed so that you know exactly what you are getting. In addition, when I got my ring insured, I got it appraised and it is worth more than we paid through Blue Nile which further confirmed that we got a great deal! Overall very happy with product and service!

Well, I’m not Canadian and I dont know how much that affects it but Blue Nile is amazing! My Fiance  got my ering from them and I couldnt be happier! I wanted a fancy cut and in this case depth and table % were super important and they had the best selection (I really went into it lol) I’m getting my ring resized whenever I go back to the US in June, but they say that during the first year there is free resizing! As far as cleaning, a little bit of toothpaste does an AMAZING job. You can also order the ring sizer and they send it to you so you can decide on the size, I thought I was a 5.5 (another jeweler) but turns out according to blue nile I’m a 5. We got the ring sizer with the purchase of the ring. They really are amazing and their prices are great! My Fiance spent a bit under 4k and accoring to the blue nile appraisal its valued a bit over 6k, and with an independent jeweler its more! Their upgrade policy is really good too! Hoping to upgrade at the end of this year if everything goes well…. Anyways hope this helps any even if I’m not canadian lol

@Olkin_Zai:  They send you the appraisal by them included :), but you pay to get it appraised elsewhere. I love them lol

@Olkin_Zai:  Not sure if you went ahead with your Blue Nile purchase, but I thought I’d chime in as a Canadian bride who ordered from them x 3!

We bought my engagement ring first – we liked that we were able to easily compare stones ad that they have very specific information about each. I liked being able to think about it without the pressure of a salesperson. After we ordered it (using a $100 off coupon! Definitely sign up for their emails and wait for a coupon) it took about 10 days I think for us to get it. We did have to sign for it, but if no one is there they’ll try again, and then you can pick it up at their depot if you want. The customer service was great – we wanted an SI-1, and my fiance was able to talk to them and they would check to make sure it was eye clean. Comes with an appraisal – we paid $2500 and it was appraised for about $4200 I think (although I don’t put much weight in appraisals, to be honest). Comes in a nice polished wood box and securely packaged. We didn’t need to, but there’s free re-sizing on e-rings for 1 year. They don’t offer free ring sizers to Canada like they do to the states, but we just got him sized at a store.

We then ordered both our wedding rings separately. They both came the very next day before noon – so fast! Wedding rings (or at least the ones we got), come in a more simple box but also nice. We actually had to return my fiance’s as the size ws 1/2 a size off (I’m pretty sure because it was comfort fit, which I didn’t take into account). It cost me $20 to buy an extra-small box and for tracked shipping from Canada Post. I didn’t get insurance, but I think it would have cost an extra $6-8. Took 4 days for it to reach them, and then they take a few days before they send you another one back. If you do it through FedEx I think it was about $55 (…but I’m cheap). Blue Nile actually does have free polishing, etc., you just have to pay for the shipping back.

Overall, I’m super happy with our purchases and with the service they’ve provided. My engagement ring was 1/2 the price it would have been at a few of the stores I went to, for the exact same characteristics. They also have super reasonable insurance you can get through them (from another company, can’t remember the name) if you can’t add to/don’t have home insurance. Let me know if you have any other questions I might be able to answer!

While I didn’t get my e-ring from there, I did order my bridesmaids gifts from there and they were amazing!
