I would go with the second option because I think the more options the better and I really think it would take me more than a day to make a ring look half way wearable

Maybe you can see what the options are? Fewer options won’t matter if they have the one you want, if not then go with the pricier option if you feel that the extra cost divided over the number of years you will have your rings it will be worth it.

ooo how exciting! I think that’s a fantastic idea, and you’ll get something truly unique. Do you have pictures of your engagement ring you can post? Do you have any idea yet of what you’d like for your wedding band to suit your e-ring (style, width, patterned, stone set etc)? Do you know what options the other workshop offers, do they have pictures of past designs etc so you know what’s available?

whoops, so many questions lol, I just love ring talk!

I would also go with the second option.  I’ve loved the wedding bands that I’ve seen come from these workshops.  Make sure you share pics after you do it.

@GelaMac:  eeeeee i just love ring stuff! especially when it’s not my own so I can go full hog and not have to be sensible and reserved about how excited jewellery makes me ha ha! The Bee Ring section is quite literally my crack. Yes to a daily fix ha ha!

As for the actual rings, your engagement ring is beautiful, very simple and elegant. Are you after a similar or contrasting style wedding band? If you wanted a similar shank then you could go for the first wr=orkshop as you mentioned they do simple bands. But your partners ring is more arty and contemporary, if he wants to go down a similar route for his wedding band then perhaps the second workshop would be a better fit. That doesnt mean you also have to go for a similar design, I’m sure you could make a simple band for yourself at this workshop and he then has the option of going a bit more ‘funky’ for his. Do you have links to the websites? I’d love to have a looksee myself!

How fun! If you’re going to make the commitment to do it, spend the extra and love it forever. Good luck!

I would want to have the options the second place offers.
