BeeLadylike:  I love your band!!!

MrsMKB:  DO IT! Getting a moissanite was an awesome decision. I figured if I didn’t like it, we could save up and get a real diamond in a year or so…but now there’s no way I’d switch it out—to me, it’s just not worth the cost! It looks EXACTLY the same.

Mine is a 5 mm square on a 6.5 finger. However, the setting has real diamonds…I ordered the ring online which worried me, but it turned out to be perfect =] I got mine from Adiamor…I highly recommend the company. Great quality for a great value! I think they mainly work with diamonds, but can get moissanite if you request it.

Another idea is to order just the stone and have a local jewler set it in one of their settings.

MrsMKB:  Its style R2847. They were able to customize it to accomodate a square moissanite and added engraving =] It’s so sparkly

Here is mine, the picture was highlighting the unusual design of the ring, not the stone. I can tell you 100% that I have never seen a picture of a moissy that was anywhere NEAR as nice as seeing it in real life. The prism affect Moissy’s have does not always photograph well (but I have seen some bees who managed to capture the prism in a PIC on other moissy threads).

MrsMKB:  My phone takes really, REALLY bad pictures, but hopefully these help you in your decision! I haven’t been able to catch its true beauty on my camera phone, but I can assure you that this stone sparkles and throws beautiful light like crazy in real life! I would pick this over a diamond any day! (and I was anti-Moissanite before I saw one in real life!)

Im in the same situation as you (kind of)

My partner and i picked out a moissy ring online for our ering (still unsure of the progress of this situation but im keeping ever optomistic) i am slightly nervous about how the ring is going to look when it arrives but i have fallen in love with moissy after seeing the pics and videos on the threads here.

hopefully these threads help you decide (and me put my mind at ease!) 🙂 x

It wasn’t hard ordering the ring without seeing it in person, it was hard ordering the stone. I wanted to trust all the great bees on here — wanted to trust them that mine would be as gorgeous. It’s a year old as of a couple days ago and still sparkles like crazy. It’s from Schubach’s — a 1ct equivalent. Please excuse the setting being HORRIBLY dirty.

My ring is a 6.5mm (1ct) round FB Moissanite in 14ct Rose Gold with a 1.85mm diamond pave band.  It’s from Rosados Box on Etsy but I did go to their location in Chicago and look at their rings in person before choosing it.  It looks way better in person.  I love it and couldn’t be happier!

I know you’re asking about the sets but I just got a moissy eternity band and I’m incredibly impressed!
