@Olkin_Zai:  You’re right. Size isn’t everything and there are other factors that you take into consideration. I’ve been engaged for a year and a half and someone will probably comment on my ring once a month because it catches the light so much.

There’s a gorgeous .78 on DiamondBistro right now for a great price!  http://diamondbistro.com/category/216/Natural-Diamond-Center/listings/34073/Tiffany-and-Co-Solitaire-Engagement-Ring-76-Platinu.html

I told my husband if we didn’t already have mine, I would’ve jumped on that one.

Anyway, mine is much smaller– .38 on a 4.5 finger (ring is size 4.75).  The stone size you’re looking at will be 1mm wider and taller, if that gives you an idea.

I lose my sh** over Tif rings.  Then again, I am a Ring Bearer solitaire girl so it would follow that I would naturally love Tif rings.  Just damn gorgeous, no matter what size the center stone.  Tiffany just brings a sacred-geometry look and feel, if I may be so nerdy.  I have not met with a Tiffany thread that I didn’t just go mute and dreamy over.  Go.For.It!  Woot. Congrats

@Olkin_Zai:  Not a Tiffany, but a GIA tripEx.  (HCA 1.1)  .90.  I color.  3.5ring size.  My Fiance was singularly focused on getting a Tiffany quality stone and I see that ‘sacred geometry’ in my stone.  The setting is a Trellis custom molded because of the small ring size.  But again, I have seen a number of Tiffanys and have NEVER seen one that I just couldn’t stop staring into.  They are really beautiful rings.  Can’t explain it; something ‘prima ballerina’ about them, lol, you know?

I also love radiants and non-Tiffanys, of course, etcetera.  But Tiffany, to me, just screams ‘prima ballerina’, metaphorically speaking.  Gorgeous rings.

I asked for a yellow gold Tiffany setting, FH made a few changes with the jeweler (like dropping down to 4 prongs) and I love it! It’s a forevermark and I get complements all the time on it because it’s so dayum shiny. It’s also in a cathedral setting which I hadn’t though about but also love. I have tiny little carnie hands which I’m super self conscious about and always hate how pictures of my hands look.

Here is a recent pic, I just got a potential wedding band in and took a picture. Not sure about the band yet.
