My favorites are the Azazie Cheryl and the one from jc penney.  I was looking into getting a dress from Azazie as well.  I think with some really nice accessories they would look beautiful!

I am a nontraditional dress kinda girl and was shocked at how many big dept stores have gowns that work. I don’t know where you live but we have a Nordstrom and Macy’s and I found stunning gowns there. Nordstrom actually has a bridal section and it was a third of the price of big boutiques. Also, we found a few bridesmaids gowns on a site called  Lulus. Just a thought

But from your list Badgley Mischka is my fave and I think with some jewelry and veil it’ll be stunning.

All you need is to pick a dress you love and are comfortable wearing. It really doesn’t need to look a certain way or be cookie cutter bridal. Being the bride makes it bridal. ๐Ÿ˜„ Just my two cents. But feel free to modify it however you wish. Azazie dress is nice.

Azazie!! I feel like you can always add a petite bling belt to it. Also just another opinion, I think another way to make yourself stand out would to have you Maid/Matron of Honor and BMs in shorter dresses unless it’s too late to switch but no matter what I think it will look wonderful!

miam :  Agreed! Nordstrom especially has beautiful dresses. Had my dress made but tried on a few just for fun.

Woah!!! The one from JC Penney was my dress!!! I’ve never seen anyone on here mention it before! I loved it!! Here are some pictures at different angles- sorry they are huge!  (I did have it steamed, but that was it)

Go for it! I think once you put on a veil and some sparkly jewelry you will look plenty “bridal”.

I like the 2 Azazies, Beatrice especially. Of course it is okay to wear any dress you love as a wedding dress!

Many of us are brainwashed by Say Yes To  the Dress but this is real life, and most of us aren’t that wealthy.

I’m a 2nd time bride so I am wearing a very untraditional dress-it’s the only one that felt “right” to me. And it was only $76.31!!

That said, even for my first wedding I bought a dress from the informal rack for under $300. I just don’t see the draw to spending several hundred or even thousands of dollars on a dress. I’m happy for those who do it and think many dresses are gorgeous, but they’re just not “me.”  Wear what you want and you will be gorgeous I’m sure! The right accessories can do wonders ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s my dress just because I love it ๐Ÿ™‚ (got it off  a clearance rack at BCBG in a mall)

The Badgeley Mischka link is taking me to the Donna Morgan dress. Could you check this link please? I love their dresses that I have seen on the Bhldn site so am interested to see this one.
