I think I found my outfit for my FFIL’s retirement party. Here’s my original post. Didn’t have much approval with my other outfits. Lol. And I agree! Hopefully this one gets the approval.

@Holly77: me too. Sexy but still conservative. Lol. My favorite is the second pic in my other post, but I’ll save that one for a night out of town with the girls. Haha

This is light years better han the original 3. I like the color contrast between your skirt and top.. 🙂

I like the top OR the bottom… The combo it a little more tight than what I would wear to a retirement party! But it looks great on you!

I voted no. You look great, I just think it’s a little too sexy for your FFIL’s retirement party. I do like this one better than the other outfits though.

@CoCoCourtney: I agree, it’s the skirt. Got anything else?

@echolove: LOVE IT! There is nothing wrong with the skirt. It’s tight, but it’s to the knee. You’re young, you can 100% pull it off. It’s not too sexy at all (some of the other outfits were though).

it’s not too sexy.. don’t worry. It’s to the knee, your boobs are covered up and so are your shoulders and arms… it’s a mature sexy. If it was thin straps or your cleavage was hanging out, then it would be too much, but the top is loose fitting and conservative. Looks great

@juicytray: thank you! i was a little taken back that I was getting Sao many no’s. lol. The blouse is actually loose and long, which i just tucked in. And I thought since the skirt is knee length, it would be fine. It’s a pencil skirt. I agree that the other ones weren’t appropriate. I felt a little uncomfortable with the other outfit and second guessing myself. But I feel comfortable in this outfit.

@MrsPhilly: Thank you! The skirt is from Charolette Russe and the blouse I just found in my closet. Lol. I think it was my mom’s.
@MrsPhilly: thank you! I feel more comfortable in this outfit.

I like this outfit way more than the previous three you posted. I would maybe wear different shoes [ie shorter/strappier/something] towards a more conservative side, but even if you don’t, I still like this overall!
