cclove: I used to wear monthlies and my eyes could not handle them for a few hours without getting dry/tired. Switched to dailies and so much more convinient.
Dailies may be more expensive per box since you are getting more lenses but you save money on solution and time/hassle on cleaning/storing lenses

I don’t understand why more people don’t do Lasik. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s an investment rather than spending hundreds a year on contacts and glasses. Plus the pain and hassle of going to the eye doctor every year, ordering glasses, putting in contacts etc…is worth a lot. I did my Lasik 7 years ago and I am so grateful. Also, my insurance paid for some of it.

Washingtonian: Cam here to say the same thing!
I was going to have to switch to dailies because my allergies were out of control and my contacts were preventing enough oxygen from getting to my eyes. We did the math and figured out that Lasik paid for itself over the dailies in just a few years!

I love my dailies. I love the convenience of having a spare pack in my make up bag or gym bag. Years ago, when I would use the two week ones, after the first few days of us, my eyes would always get irritated. It was no Bueno.

I used to wear the two week disposables, and they bothered me so much. I got dailies, and I’d never, ever go back to anything else.

cclove: I wear glasses or dailies. I’ve never tried other contact lenses. They’re a bit more expensive, but I find them super comfortable. I known monthlies are usually thicker, so that and the whole having to take care of them thing just doesn’t appeal.
