So I am 39 weeks along. I saw my doctor’s nurse on the 4th of this month and she asked me if I had been having any and i told her every once in a while i’ll have a couple but then they will go away.
The very next day i started getting contractions more often. I had an ultrasound on the 9th and right afterwards they took me into another room and did a NST(non stress test). They said it is because Macie is measuring small so they want to make sure that she is doing ok and that they want to have me take another NST on the 15th and the 18th as well as keep my appointment on the 18th and if everything is going fine schedule me to be induced on the 21st. I’m due on the 23rd.
Everything was great on the 15th. They said she seemed healthy and happy so i’m just waiting to go in tommorrow. But today I keep having contractions. They are killing me! They are stronger, they will last a min and will be about 5 min apart, but then they are varying and they stopped for a couple of hours and have just started up again.
I thought this morning that today might be the day since the contractions started as soon as i woke up. But then they stopped. Now that they started again i’m wondering if they will keep going or if they are going to stop again. Just venting about my situation and what all is going on. Thanks for reading this!

Thank you guys. Yea my first daughter when they measured her by ultrsound right before she was born they said she would be 5lbs 5oz but she came out 5lbs 14oz.
During my ultrasound they said that she was measuring 5lbs 5oz so i’m hoping that she is growing and will be bigger. Hopefully above 6lbs. We will see soon I guess!

You’re in the home stretch! Of course, it happens to be the most frustrating stage of pregnancy, but you’re at the end. 🙂 Good luck, momma!

The end is the worst. I’m super impatient, but combine that with relentless heartburn, cramps, digestive issues, not sleeping well, being huge, not having clothes that fit (no, not even maternity fit me anymore since i’m tall) and all the aches and pains that come with the end of pregnancy and it’s pretty frustrating. I thought I was having contractions yesterday, but they went away. I had my membranes stripped mon, have been having “adult time” every day, and even tried castor oil. The castor oil didn’t even relieve my constipation, much less get labor started!
I feel for you, but as long as the contractions are getting closer together and more intense, you should be almost there. It’s got to be so frustrating for them to go away and come back though.

yep very frustrating. I went to my NST on friday and my doctor says everything looks good and I was dilated to 3 so they are inducing me monday morning (the 21st) at 6 am. I had more contractions after my appointment yesterday and they were even stronger but they stopped right before bed. I haven’t had a single one all day but atleast I know she is coming monday! I can’t wait!
