You’re really trying to stir the pot aren’t ya? 🙂

But… the obvious answer is down and we each have our own bathrooms so no arguments here.

sometimes I think he places the tp upside down on purpose just to be a brat.

but it doesn’t make my head explode– I just turn it over and keep my mouth shut. I’d rather not turn into a nag if I can help it. sometimes I pretend it makes me mad but it doesn’t really.

I’m not consistent, just throw it on there whichever way.  Fi has never said anything about it either, so I guess he doesn’t care either.

I voted awkward turtle. I have enough trouble getting him to put the TP roll ONTO the holder, let alone in the “correct” direction (which I guess is down but I really don’t ever notice). Seriously, the man finishes a roll and instead of putting the cardboard in the recycling bin then popping a new roll on, he sets the roll on top of the empty and rolls it off into his hand o_O

The paper needs to come down or it drives me nuts.  Darling Husband & I have separate bathrooms which is fantastic, but he also likes the TP down so no arguments there! 🙂

Well, I feel dumb.  I don’t know whether to vote up or down.  It has to be over the roll.

ETA:  I’m thirlled that this is what I posted for my 1300th post lol

I am OCD about stuff like this.  Luckily, Fiance and I both prefer the TP facing down.  I have even switched the roll around to the way I like when I’m at my parents’ house.  Embarassed  (They don’t care one way or the other, which is why I feel free to do that.)

I also like the toilet paper spool thing (that goes through the center of the TP roll) to go from fatter on the left to thinner on the right.

This is how I like it:

    (I’m a freak.)

We’ve lived together for almost five months now, and I can confidently say that my husband has never once replaced the toilet paper roll.

@MissBoPeep: I was just thinking that too!  Isn’t either way down?  Due to gravity and such?  I have a hard time visualizing these things.

Down of course.  But like @CaitMarae, we each have our own bathroom so it doesnt matter.  He’s a totally slob in his, but it doesnt bother me since I never go in there.  Actually, I had to go in there to get floss cause I ran out…. and he doesnt even bother putting the toilet paper up!  The empty roll is still in there, and the new roll is just on the counter top.

@MissCalifornia: Haha, my Fiance does that, too!!  I never say anything because to me it’s a “don’t sweat the small stuff” sort of thing, but it always makes me shake my head and think, “Like this is SO hard to switch!”  Laughing
