I bought these a couple years ago and I truely love them. There are very much my style and they are wonderfuly comfie. I guess I just need validation because when my future Mother-In-Law ask what shoes I’m going to wear I told her and she said “The ones with all the junk all over them?” and made a yuck face.

She and I have vastly differnt oppinions in fashion. Should just ignore her jab at my choice or should I listen to her and pick differnt shoes?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the reassurance! I know I shouldnt listen to her but its really hard to ignore it when people say negative things about things you are proud of and have thought long and hard about.
But Your right It is my wedding!
Thanks,

They’re awesome and I don’t think she’ll even notice at the reception.

I must say I adore those though they are so cute… i have never seen that style

They are a limited edition pair that converse put out with journey’s they have a contest every year to select the artist. Its called the backyard bbq.
They arent worn because they are special occasion shoes for me and if they do get dirty I take a toothbrush and woollite to them.
I think yours sound awsome! I love the double tounge style but unfortnately I dont have any.

They’re cute!!! My friend just recently got married and she wore converse to her reception! I think it’s an awesome idea!

O chuck taylor! How I love you =)
I had a pair of chucks made for the reception or after the wedding. They say Mrs. NewLastName all down the side in a very cool font! I love them and I think your idea is great. I like those shoes a lot!

I think they’re great and if they fit your style, then go for it. But the one thing I keep asking myself on anything kind of “out there” is “will I regret this in 10 years?” or “will I be embarassed to tell my children this?” There actually have been a few things I’ve held back on because of this.
