I am going to wear a convertible dress as a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and I am totally excited about all of the different style options. The only thing I am concerned about is ordering this dress online. What if the dress runs too small or too big? Does anyone know of or has anyone had to have this dress altered before? Is it simple to take in or let out? Thanks for all of your help!

@SweetM11: I would call the company that you are ordering the dress from and see how their sizing works! 🙂

@SweetM11: Hey girl! Are you wearing something like a Butter by Nadia dress? That sort of convertible dress comes in one size/length and there’s enough fabric to wrap it around yourself. Definitely call the company and ask them your question.
Also, a friend of mine wore a convertible dress as a bridesmaid and said it was difficult to wear a bra underneath her dress (silky, clingy fabric) so you might want to play around with your dress and be sure to get the right sort of undergarments as soon as you can!

I wore a Henkaa brand convertible dress in a wedding last summer, and they are typically one size fits all. They do have one with a few extra inches on the straps if you are a curvier/heavier girl.
I agree on the bra part, being a curvier girl, I was more limited in the styles I could wear it with, to ensure my bra wouldn’t poke out.
