My friend just had her wedding and we wore convertible dresses (made by her Maid/Matron of Honor which saved us like $100 but was kinda annoying for her lol) but yes the fabric must be stretchy sort of (jersey material) and they are wrapped SO TIGHT so that the style doesn’t move that its a tough thing to pull off if you are a little “soft” in places…

She required us to have sleeves and all be different so I got stuck with this style that REALLY didn’t flatter my arm fat but I wore it anyway… cuz I’m a good Bridesmaid or Best Man haha

The skirt was flowy cuz she used a lot of fabric so they are flattering in that area BUT I needed to use fashion tape on the inside of my strapless bra so that the fabric did not roll down and expose my bra… Therefore I kind felt like I was ONLY in my bra and that was a little more exposed than I like… and I don’t have a big chest so I feel like bigger chested girls might have issues with the style.

The one shoulder looked good but we had to have all different and the bride assigned us the styles.

Here’s another few of the BMs:

if they aren’t wrapped tightly they can look a little disheveled and the jersey fabric starts to roll on its self…

It wouldn’t be my first choice for BMs but it worked and looked pretty in the end.

Hope I’ve helped!

PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DO NOT ORDER FROM “KAY KONVERTIBLES”. That company STILL has not given me a refund 6 months later for dresses they never sent. “kay” deleted her etsy account after receiving so many negative comments on not receiving items and being ignored. I am out $200+…Victoria’s Secret has them…and make sure you read the reviews of vendors off of Etsy!

It’s a company based out of Toronto, Canada but they do ship to the US. Very reasonable prices too. Good luck!

What do others do for under garments for the convertable dresses?
