Curious to know what you girls think of a cookie bar at a wedding reception? I presonally have fallen in love with this idea. Im a big fan of making cookies and was thinking I could def. make most of them and maybe order a few different ones from a local bakery. Not a big fan of candy and desserts aren’t as easy to “grab and eat” as cookies! Let me know what you all think. I posted a pic I am using for inspiration below. Also, any cookie recommendations you migth want to share are appreciated!

I would be so thrilled to go to a wedding with a cookie bar. Like I’d take them ALL! That’s a great idea. And you could probably really cut costs by making some of them.

I think this looks delicious! What a great idea! Maybe you can recruit your BMs to help with some of the baking. 🙂

OMG I LOVE COOKIES
nom nom nom. SNickerdoodles are my favorite! You could even do some brownies for good measure =]
Maybe you can wrangle some close family members into helping–to bake enough cookies for a cookie bar for even 100 guests would be a LOT of cookies to bake, and you want them fresh so you can’t just bake them a week in advance.
Man i wish I could’ve pulled this off! I’ll keep it in mind for showers, though…what a great idea!
Here’s some to get you going!
I like to make chocolate chip ones, but with butterscotch chips. BUtterscotch chips are delish! And my manager’s husband makes these s’more bars that are good. You make them like rice krispy treats, but you use graham cereal and chocolate chips. Always a hit

I personally wouldn’t do it. I think cookies are SOOO tacky. I mean, what if someone doesn’t LIKE cookies?
KIDDING! Sounds YUM!!!!!!! I wanted to do this but our venue wouldn’t allow anything home-made (health code reasons) so be sure to check! The more cookies, the merrier!! Maybe as favors you could give the recipes?
