i say buy the little gourmet cookie bags. they have them in white and a few colors on papermart.com. then you can buy a little sticker to seal it shut and even throw a monogram sticker or stamp on the front. that is what im going to do i think. the bags are much cheaper than boxes. like $8 for 100! good luck to you too! id love to see your pics of the cookies since you will be going first! ๐

What a cute idea! I love it. It makes the wedding a bit more personal. Though, I do think that a candy bar would go great along the cookies. But, DIYing a cookie bar and candy bar would drive any bride crazy.
P.S – I think I’m stealing this idea!

I’m doing a cookie bar at my wedding, and in order to get recipes I included a request on my RSVP cards for guests to submit their favorite cookie recipe ๐ I have created a form on our wedding website where guests can submit it. I thought it would be a fun idea, and plus it makes it easier on me to have people send me good recipes, rather than spend hours searching for ones that sound good. On the jars at the reception I’ll indicate who sent the recipe, so for example: Chocolate Chip Cookies courtesy of Jane Smith. Also, the cookies will serve as wedding favors. All guests will get a box (I found fuscia glitter chinese take-out boxes at Michaels!!!) that will have a little card that invites them to fill up their box with cookies ๐ Because I’ve been trying to figure out an unobtrusive way to include my dogs (lol) the cards will say, “Zim, Toby, and Ozzy invite you to fetch some delicious cookies before you leave!” (or something along those lines).
