@nl: wow, that’s cool! I honestly don’t really remember too much from PGH weddings, but with such a large PGH crowd attending, we’re working it in 🙂

@nl: Fellow Pittsburgher here! My mom loves the macaroons, always goes straight to them. I also see the buckeyes a lot. My personal favorite is the peanut butter with reese cup. I think if there are cookies, people don’t care what they are, they just love them anyways!

@LavenderBride24: Well traditionally cookie tables are an Italian thing, i think.. could be other cultures too though. And its a really big Pgh thing, an i know there are some traditional cookies on there.. like lady locks and stuff. But i really like having extras. Love your mini cheescakes, and im doing mini smores on there too. I may steal some of your cookie ideas lol.

@EmilyJoy: I would LOVE to make macarons but the recipe seems so daunting to me. You have to measure out the ingredients by weight and I dunno why it seems like a chore to me. But they are really in style right now too. I was looking for other recipes too but none seem as good or as easy as I’d like. My favorite are Italian knots! Ill fill my plate with those so im hoping to master those for the day because i hear they are hard to nail!

@LavenderBride24: at Christmas I saw someone do it and I cataloged it in my head to remember for the wedding. Two graham crackers, the single ones, with marshmallow fluff inside and then one end dipped in chocolate. The marshmallow fluff dried but didnt get dried out.. if that makes any sense. They were at room temp and it was still like that!

@nl: Honestly, I’m not even sure what’s in them, as they are the “specialty” of FI’s aunt. They are delicious though!

Caramel tassies. And baklava. I don’t care if it’s not really a cookie, haha.
