So I was whipping up a batch of pancakes for my kids (thats what they want for lunch). I just recently learned how to make pancakes from scratch! and the recipe calls sifted flour… now I usually bake so this is not an uncommon term/request for me… but I was sifting my flower and realized that I improvise a lot on everything kitchen and cooking related… what did I sift my flower with u ask? a strainer! I have a cheap $2-3 metal basket strainer with the small holes that I sift my flour through and it works fine! my recipes always come out the way they are expected…
so I ask Do u guys ever have an improvision in the kitchen that works just as well as the actual tool would?
