I think the experience is different for every person but personally it was not worth the money for me. I did cool sculpting around my lower tummy area. It didn’t make a significant difference and I had very excruciating pain for like 3-5 days after the procedure. I called the Dr that did the procedure to ask what I could do about it and they weren’t helpful. They told me it was common for some people to have pain afterward and told me to just take pain killers. I ended up going to see my primary care physician and she prescribed me Tramadol. After the pain was completely gone, the only thing I noticed was that the right side of my abdomen was uneven with my left side and I didn’t look any different. It’s definitely a cheaper option if you don’t have very much extra fat and just want to “sculpt,” so I wouldn’t warn people against it. Plus my case of pain could have been rare. I would recommend going to a consult with your plastic surgeon to get the best advice for your body type. I’m not married yet but would totally get major surgery if I could afford it and had enough time for recovery and to go back for a follow up to fix anything, if needed. I‘m sure you are already gorgeous and if you want to make some small changes, I say do whatever makes you feel confident! Good luck

ducoop87 :  Hey Bee!

My fiance is a videographer, and he often films cosmetic procedures/interviews with practitioners/etc – including coolsculpting, which is how I know about it. So no personal experience, basically what the practitioner said. Anyway, it seems to be a good solution if you have a bit some truly “stubborn” fat tissue in some areas of the body that nothing seems to help get rid of. In other words, the best results are generally achieved when you’re already close to your comfortable weight but just have a few folds here and there, not if you’re actually overweight.

The advantages mentioned were little discomfort, very few side effects and no downtime.

As for the major procedures, I personally would advice against it as even in most capable hands you can suffer complications that will drag beyond the projected recovery date. If you really want something done, wait until the storm calms down.
