what’s your color scheme? or rather, do you have one? I think, with such a bright pretty color, you might want to bring in a darker, coordinating color. Perhaps a navy and red stripe tie?

what are the groomsman wearing?

If you’re interested in a printed tie that the guys can keep have a look at Cyberoptix Tie Lab (links below).

By The Way – I’m not affiliated with Tie Lab at all, just something I plan on ordering for our groomsmen so I have all the details sorted below 😉

They’ve got a number of colours and can send you swatches if you like ($3).

You get to pick the fabric AND the ink colour too so you can make it match however you like.  The tone on tone printing looks really nice if you’re looking for something more classic.

There is also discounts (through the Etsy store mainly) for Groomen packages…they have silk ($ and microfiber ($30) — there’s more colour choices in the microfiber.

My favourite "wedding" patterns are: Peacock, Oak Tree, Victorian Gears, Poppies and Iris

If you’re not big on the pattern pick one that sits near the bottom of the tie –  keep in mind that the boys jackets are usually closed so you won’t see it in the formal photos but they can "cut loose" and show some style 😀

http://cyberoptix.com/ (that’s their main site, but I think there are more (new) patterns listed on the Etsy site).

Good luck with the tie hunt!!

As always, I recommend thetiebar.com.  The service is great and it’s totally affordable.  Plus they have matching pocket squares!

Have you tried Nordstrom?  That’s where my dad got a gorgeous tie for my wedding to match both my mom and sister’s dresses.  They’re generally on the more expensive side, but they have a million options, and their suiting sales people really know their stuff.

If you’re having trouble matching an exact color, a print might be a good way to go, because it won’t be very noticeable if the color is slightly off.

I think I’m in like with this tie!  Perfect color (one of my 3 main colors) and design for a destination wedding.  TOO cute!
