After a morning of tech issues, I finally am able to upload pictures! So rather than doing an extensive recap, I figured I’d just do two photo-heavy posts focusing on details, and then people. I’ll try to hit the highlights of the stuff I’ve been talking about for the last 18 months and my fav pictures… but if there is something you’re wondering about that I didn’t post feel free to ask!
Also, I have a full set of pictures online at Picasa, if anyone really cares to see the whole set please let me know and I’ll PM you the link. Without further ado…
Reception (ceremony space flipped)
Looking down from the upstairs (ceremony/dinner space) to downstairs (cocktail hour/dancing space)
argh… thats as much as it’ll let me do for now…

favors (customized fortune cookie and home-made chocolate covered pretzels)
our rings and my shoes
My green and peacock bouquet, with my grandmother’s antique brooch on the wrap (loved it!!)
My bridesmaids’ dresses.. I LOVED how the three different colors looked together, especially with their flowers and the wraps I bought them.
Our cake topper… before it toppled onto the floor and knocked our heads off lol
These were used as ceremony decor, then repurposed to the head table for dinner. Loved them!
The photo wall I built was a huge hit! Everyone loved it, especially during cocktail hour
That’s it for details… I really loved how everything turned out! I felt like everything matched and fit our general and evolving color scheme of jewel tones (we ended up with various shades of blue, aqua, jade, teal, gold, and purple… but i think it all worked without being matchy)… the peacock accents… the exposed brick/urban look of our venue. I couldn’t be happier with how everything came out 🙂

I love the centerpieces! Where did you find the lanterns?!
Thanks all! you guys are fast 🙂
@M.Ruder:The lanterns (I assume you mean the ones on the table and not the paper ones) were on clearance at pier one! I got them for like $10 each or something crazy. The best part is that our whole house is blue and green, so now I get to repurpose them as decor here!

holy @*()&%@&$)@( I love your BMs ensemble soooo much! And what an original and awesome idea for the bouquets. I will admit, anytime I hear peacock feathers in a wedding, I’m skeptical. But girl, you pulled it off and then some!!
