I’ve been to a few events, eaten, and stayed there a few times. It’s not ‘dated’ but traditional decor. There are a number of rooms and floors with different “spaces” (grill vs. dinning room).  However, I can’t say I’ve been to the most formal floor. I would say it’s worth looking into (but then again I’m getting married at Cornell so I’m certainly partial).

From my experiences the food and service are great!

Just to give you a bit more information on the decor, its a lot of rich wood, red oriental rugs, lighter walls with molding. Again, I’m not sure on which floor your reception would be held, but the floors I’ve been on are of the same style and I can’t believe the Main room would change dramatically.

I’ve eaten in the grill and had breakfast when I’ve stayed over and it was very fresh, well cooked. But, these of course are easy meals to make, I can’t speak for full catered events.

Happy to answer more questions should you have any.
