Yep! I have one on my left ovary. It’s like 3.2 CM is what the report says! It shocked me. The tech said that the corpus luteum cyst is necessary to help with hormone production until the placenta takes over. They checked it again at my NT scan at 12+5 and said it was fine!

Yes, it is normal. This is what produces hormones until the placenta can take over. Everyone starts out with one! Don’t worry! πŸ™‚

wanted to comment because it can sound like a scary thing, but others have cleared it up πŸ™‚ i had one too.. and had many cysts before pregnancy. they usually happen on the side the egg came from, and its producing all great things until the placenta takes over! as the other ladies said. hope youre able to relax and enjoy youre pregnancy! congrats!
