Have you tried fredericks? I think sometimes they’ll have some pretty good deals.

I got one at fredricks for $17. But be warned…my dress did not fit the day before my wedding so I bought a corset to fit into my dress and it was so painful and uncomfortable. The seamstress said it does make you look thinner but does nothing with fit.

If you are looking for serious, sturdy shaping, you will want to go with a steel boned corset.  They are sold all over the web.  I will be wearing one, underbust, under my gown.
