Corset dresses are made to fit different sizes. I think that you should go try on a size 10 corset at David’s bridal to see if it looks good and then if you do like it, buy the dress.

I think that yes, anything too small will not look good and will not be comfortable either. Sometimes wearing clothes that are too small can make a person look bigger from what I’ve observed.

Corset dresses are amazing because you can adjust the size, for the most part. You can do what I did, the dress should have a fabric panel that goes underneath the corset part so your skin isn’t exposed. Those panels are easy to pop the stitching off of and you can move the panel over, that’s what I did with my dress because I unfortunately gained a bit of weight before our wedding.

I wanted a corset so badly as well.  I’m an 8/10 as well and they had me try on 14 at DB’s because of my chest.  The sales lady grabbed half the dress back to fit my waste.

Corsets are flattering and can be let out to allow for more room more so than other dresses.  Can you order it, or is it off the rack?

Just remember a dress that is too small on you wont look the same as it does on the model

You dont want to have gaps throughout the corsett. Yes there is wiggle room with a corsett back, but you dont want it to look like you are clearly wearing a dress that is too small

If you order a dress online from Davids you can return it.  I would get it and try it on, if it doesn’t work return it.
