My dress is strapless and looked great, but I needed a strapless bra and ended up getting a corset to help smooth out my shape a bit. I look amazing from the front, but in the back, the corset is causing the flesh to spill out the top so I have crazy-bad back fat! Which I didn’t have before, so it’s not the dress.
My question is: does anyone have any solutions for this problem that does not involve a) diet and exercise (I AM lifting weights, doing cardio, eating well–but the wedding’s a month away and let’s be realistic) and b) altering the back of the dress. I know that making a “v” or scooping out the back can help, but that’s not possible when you’re wearing a corset underneath.
Would wearing a smoother underneath the corset help? Train my Bridesmaid or Best Man to smooth the flesh out manually? Tell fiance to wrap his arm around me like I’m his football buddy? Double-stick tape?? Anyone else deal with this and how did you deal with it? Any creative solutions most welcome! TIA!
