im jealous of your dress! i tried it on and looooved it but found another that i liked as well. did you get the chapel length veil? i fealt like royalty in that dress.

I would def try a corset to get the results you want, it sucks you and pushes you up.  Did you look at davids bridal when you were there? i really liked some of the bra’s they had as well as the full lenth slips.

I’m a huge supporter of spanx. Infact, I wear them everyday. However, I will be doubling up on my wedding day with spanx and a corset. If you want the push-up, then go with a corset! My consultant gave me one to wear when I was trying on dresses and they made my ta-ta’s look fantastic! lol

I’m in the same boat as you! I have a very form fitting lace gown, and i want to look skinny but also push up the girls! I bought a spanx ‘dress’ that is basically a tube top that goes down just below my butt. It doesn’t curl, and it has perfect support on my tummy. I am also having a corset built into my dress, so the girls are looking perky too 🙂

even though spanx are so much more comfortable in my opinion i would go for the corset because it’ll push you up…or if you don’t feel supported in just that then go for CaitMarae’s idea

The boning in the corset might show through your dress.  I would go with spanx

Your dress is beautiful!!  I am also wearing a trumpet-shape dress and bought this to wear underneath: http://cgi.ebay.com/Flattering-Me-Longline-Bridal-Bra-Bustier-728-Ivory-/400087862255?pt=US_CSA_WC_Intimates&var=&hash=item9bff213d74

My alterations lady is sewing it into my dress to help support the weight.  My dress has lace on the bust and at the hem, but it’s silk everywhere else.  I was really worried you’d be able to see the boning/edge of the bra but it doesn’t show through at all.  Plus, it pushes the girls up but really accentuates my waist.  A little expensive but totally worth it!  If you do buy this brand, order your regular bra size.  The instructions on the company’s website say not to so I followed their advice the first time around and it was so wrong.

I have pics posted of me in my dress (wearing this bra underneath) at my fitting in some other threads.  That may give you an idea. Smile

Hope this helps!
