That seems like a really good deal for all the work she’ll have to do on the leaves.

Ours was $7 a slice, which was the cheapest we could find (darn you, NYC prices).

We had petit fours and paid $45 for 30 of them. Cost-effective and pretty!

@SoontobeMrsA: It was SO convenient, too. Instead of having to mess with cutting slices for guests, we just let them choose–chocolate or white. Lol!

Our cake was a little over $800 and it served 350+. It had pin cushion designs alternated with swirls on the ribbon tiers and our monogram in the middle tier. Simple.

First of all, let me say that I love cannoli cake, but they are pretty expensive. I had one for my daughter’s bridal shower and it was over $100. for one round cake, so having 3 in different sizes would definitely add up. Add to that all the details she’ll be making, I guess the price sounds about right.

We paid $600. for the blown sugar bubble cake that fed 100 people.

@SoontobeMrsA: We went to a local grocery store and had them done through their bakery (same thing with the flowers).

I went with a baker that’s in the process of opening her own business, so her prices were reasonable. I’m a huge fan of simple and elegant cakes…mine was only $200 and it fed over 100 people:)

@UpstateCait:how many slices is your cake? you’ll get a much better idea of other people’s cake costs if you ask for the per slice cost.
