    Ours is about $45k for 150 people in nyc.

    Rough breakdown, and right now I’m at ~$4,000.. tons of wiggle room to get to $5K!

     

    Venue Rental (for ceremony and reception.. comes w tables and chairs… AND is exactly what I dreamed of!) … $500

    Food…$850 (Hog roast and family members making sides)

    Beverages…$500 (yeah, we’re drinkers….)

    Cake…$75 (I’m making it.. my first trial is baking in the oven right now, I will post pics later!)

    Gown…$300 (my dream dress is $700, so we’ll see on this one…)

    Alterations, jewelry, mani + pedi… $130

    Tux rental… $100

    Officiant.. free (my step-mom)

    Flowers… $15 (growing them myself, this was the cost of seeds.. although I will budget more in case of emergency)

    Decorations for everything… $250 (will probably go over this amount)

    Dinnerware… $150 (I am getting the Ecoware wooden cutlery!)

    Music…$150 (haven’t figured this out yet, DIYing it with an iPod but have no clue what the cost to rent the sound system is)

    Photographer… $175 (found an amazing student for $10/hr plus travel)

    Invitations…$200 (DIYing)

    Favors…$100 (donation)

    Attendant gifts…$200

    Parents gifts…$200

    His ring…$55 (mine came with a set)

    Website… $10 (for domain name, I found free hosting!! I am designing it myself)

    our budget is 5,000. heres the breakdown were counting on having 80 guests.

    food/- 1100 (appertizers, full meal (were doing a barbqu food but were getting it catered) icecream cake and candy buffet.

    alcohol-500

    tent rental with chairs, tables, lights- 950

    Bed and breakfast for use of land-500

    hotel rooms-300

    my dress/acessories- 530

    suit-100

    rings-75

    hair-free (my friend is a hair stylist)

    dj-free (friend is a dj)

    decorations/invitations/programs/centerpieces- 400

    bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts-50

    photographer-600

    officant: no idea yet….

    this adds up to 5,135 so were 135 over budget but i am sure we can find a way to cut costs.

    We are at 23K right now and I hope it stays that way.  Our honeymoon is already there but the spending money is not.  So hopefully, everything stays under 30K.  This is for 130-140 people ๐Ÿ™‚

    Here’s about what we’re spending…so far

    Inviting: about 160 – expect about 100

    Center / reception and ceremony = $7,000 (a HUGE deal as my husband knows the owner – normally the center we’re getting married at / reception at is rediculously expensive)

    Flowers = $200 (silk)

    Cake Topper = $400

    Photography = all day / unlimited = $1500 (yup, got a steal!)

    Vidographer = 2 cameras, 4 hours = $700 (yup, professional and another steal! contacts, ROCK!)

    DJ = 6 hours = $760

    Alcohol = not sure on this one yet = maybe $1500

    Dress = paid for by my mother (so not including in cost) = $1,100 and that’s with veil, gloves, shoes, etc…)

    Invitations = all DIY/hand made by yours truly = about $100 (not including postage)

    Catering = this one not sure yet as my husband is a manager at a catering business and honestly we may not even have to worry about our catering…depends on what his boss decides. ๐Ÿ˜€

    Centerpieces = all hand made / DIY = as of right now, about $50

    SO far we have paid off the center, bought the flowers, down payment on photography & videography – and have spent about $7700 so far – with less than $5000 more to spend.

    I hope to keep the total under $13,000

    $85K for 150 people.  This doesn’t include rings and honeymoon.  Ring and honeymoon are around $23K.

    I agree you need to wide the price range. I choose 15K+ but ours is coming in around 37K.  This does include rehearsal dinner, host gifts, parents gifts, etc.  Does not include honeymoon or rings.

    Our budget is 21K to 22K. This budget does not include honeymoon, rings, my dress or his tux

     

    So far:

    Venue/Reception including food,2 hr host bar, basic cake- $12, 435

    Additional host hour $1,000 (maybe)

    Sushi Chef- $1,200

    Outdoor Ceremony at venue- $989

    Priest- $400

    Phot/Video-$2,100

    Cake Upgrade- $250

    Save the Dates-$75

    Reception & Ceremony decor estimate- $1750-2000

    Oh my! My wedding is only going to 10K for 350 people! Am I being unrealistic here? I’m doing a lot of diy and creativity

    My dress a wopping: 150

    suit= 100

    ceremony flowers 500

    Ceremony/Reception (same place)= 2500

    Photography: 3000

    so that’s practically half our budget…

    Decoration including linen, flowers, favors, centerpieces ect.=1,000

    food/caterer = 1,000

    cake= free!…hubby’s mom is a cake masta!

    rings = 800

    lots of paper and fabric for my diy includes invites, STD, some centerpieces/favors = 500

    DJ=not yet but family has to help pay something right mother?

    and that’s it so far…

    Reception Venue is 80pp (~15K) Food, Open Bar, Cake

    Ceremony On site $750- site and decor

    Officiant: $400

    Dress +others: $1500

    Flowers: $2000

    DJ$2000

    Photo/Video: $4500

    Transportant: $1000

    Cigar Roller: $1000

    Rings: $900

    Honeymoon $4000

    And Im sure Im forgetting more

    The plan was to keep it at or under $20K and in reality we’re probably going to spend about $30K after all is said and done.

    We have yet to nail down a final few vendors so I’ll refrain from posting a budget breakdown just yet.  At the moment it’s looking like it will be $18-20K.. excluding rings and honeymoon.  That’s for approx. 80 people.

    Do keep in mind, though, that location (ie- state), type of reception (ie- brunch/dinner/dessert only & alchohol included or not), and especially the amount of guests will make your poll answers vary widely.  The costs for a wedding will differ HUGELY if thrown for 50 guests vs. 200.

    We ended up spending a little over 10,000.00 for a 100 people in Vancouver.
