Hello Lady Bees!
I am just wondering what is the going rate for a day-of coordinator? We are in Orange County and I’ve got several different quotes ranging form $600-3000 for roughly the same services! I can’t get a grip on what is a fair and reasonable price to pay. How much is are you shelling out?

It depends. My wedding was in the suburbs of Philadelphia and the cheapest I found was $250. But I saw prices up $500-700.
Maybe someone that leave near you could give you a better estimate.
Welcome to WB, by the way!

Ours is in Virginia…and the one we booked is $600 including an assistant. All the others I found quoted about $1500 (and some charged extra for phone calls!).
The difference with the one we booked and the others is that she is located geographically a little further out from the touristy area we are having the wedding, and she is kind of just starting up. She has a ton of experience working at restaurants as event planner/manager, but has only been full time doing weddings on her own for like, 3 years. I noticed recently after we booked her she increased her rates! What we booked for $600 would be $850 now!

We paid $1500 last year for DOC plus two months of planning services as required by our venue. Her name’s Gini Garner, she’s in OC and she’s awesome!!! I thought our contract included two months of services but she helped with every step of the planning and vendor booking through our six month engagement. I highly recommend her.

We paid $1800 for our DOC (with two months of planning as well). She comes with 3 assistants and stays the entire day. So far she’s been awesome. She is based in LA but works all over southern california. PM me if you are interested in her info.

Im paying $500 for mine — from what I recall it seems to average at that.

Mine is costing me $1200 for up to 20 hours of service. She will be there day of to coordinate and for my rehersal dinner.

My wedding coordinator charges $950 for “day of” coordinator, but she is actually part of the planning for 2 months. She also has an a la carte option for a better price. If you mention that you were referred by another bride (Michelle) you get 10% off. You can check her out at Glassboxaffairs.com – and she’s in Orange County.
Good luck with the planning!

I will be paying $100, but I live in a really small town and she is a family friend.

Our DOC (based out of Phoenix, AZ) is costing us $400 for 10-12 hours of service. Money well spent
