MemberI am debating wether to have a Candy buffet or some other type of favors for my wedding. I really want a candy buffet but only if it reasonably priced in comparison to other favor ideas. So how much does the average wedding favor cost?
MemberI don’t know about the average cost but I’m spending about $2.50/person. I say look at your budget and figure out what you can afford and then go from there.
Memberi don’t know about average either, but favors weren’t a priority for me so i wouldn’t spend over $1.00 per person. i don’t even know how much i did end up spending though… we baked cookies and my mom bought the ingredients, i just bought the packaging which was $10.00.
MemberWe are doing 1″ buttons and a mini candy buffet of just different types of Hershey Kisses/Hugs. I bought all our candy on sale after valentine’s day – maybe cost about $100? Not including the 3 jars. I don’t really intend to have it re-stocked – it’s just a little extra.
Memberit really depends on your preference if you want wedding favors or edible ones. Either way they are both good ideas. I spent $1.50 per favor for a count of 100 but it took me time to shop around to find a good deal on them. Other sites they were around $2.50-$3.00 each. I have more guests that but i figured not everyone would keep one for themselves.
