Channels are not supposed to be sized down, it comprises  the setting… but sized up I think I was quoted  between $75 – $130. Not cheap. And also speaking in CAD

Depending on the thickness of the band they can sometimes heat and stretch , not sure with channel tho

I was told it would be $100 to resize my plain gold band.

DK is charging me $45 to size down. Might be different to go up? $85 doesn’t sound too crazy though.

I had a 2mm WG pave band resized down about 2 sizes. It cost $100, which surprised me. I expected it to cost less based on what I’d seen online, but I went to one of the higher quality jewelry stores in my city. Ultimately, I’m happy I went with them. They assured me it wasn’t an issue to resize a pave band because they ensure all prongs are tightened, etc. Everything is secure & I’ve had no issues.

penny1403 :  have you contacted the jeweler who made the ring for you?  I know my jeweler does one sizing for free.
