I think it was something like 1.50 per person to add a sorbet intermezzo to our package.

I’m not sure about the cost but remember to factor in more rentals (spoons, cups/bowls).  When are you planning on serving it?

@babycakes24:  What about orange or lime? Grapefruit? Does that exist? I love citrus!

For us, having the intermezzo added like $15/pp (the Hyatt at the Bellevue is out of control), so we scrapped it. What if you provided the actual sorbet (hello Whole Foods!) and they are just responsible for serving it?

I’m thinking of this as well. I’ve never had it before, but I think it would be very classy.

@babycakes24:  See if they can just substitute it for the soup or something else. We had a huge cocktail hour and the menu was salad or appetizer, pasta, entree (with seconds available), then viennese hour and wedding cake. We thought it was too much food so we combined the salad & appetizer into a duet and did intermezzo instead of the pasta plate. Worked out nicely.

I just double checked our package since my memory is kind of crap about that kind of thing. The sorbet intermezzo is 3 dollars per person, and comes in flavor lemon, raspberry, and champagne (that sounds weird lol).

We’re going for it. Good luck 🙂
