Just wondering if any of you knew any good websites to order Save-The-Date Cards or invites from and your experiences with using printable invites versus premade.
Also, I have added a poll to get an idea of what invtitations may cost. I have just begun my search and am not sure if I would like to order them online or have them made by a local company yet.
ETA: And how much did you spend on STDs?

I am DIYing ours and they are costing approximately $1.20 each. This does not include postage (which is going up again).
As far as Save-The-Date Cards… we ordered magnets from VistaPrint. They were about $0.33 each because we ordered them when they were on sale AND we had a Groupon!
My best advice is the DIY your invites if you want a “fancier” look without paying an enormous amount. That having been said… it is a LOT of work — so be prepared!! Haha. If you are aiming for a more simple invite… VistaPrint’s prices can’t be beat.

Invitations can be relatively inexpensive and range all the way up to extremely expensive. I had a very formal invitation suite that involved engraving on thick, 100-percent cotton cards. As I recall, with postage and calligraphy, mine were about $25 each. I’ve seen comments from other bees whose invitations were as expensive as or more expensive than mine. However, there are many, many bees who have absolutely gorgeous invitations for much, much less. I was just obsessed with having engraving.

i used a company online called “Mixbook”. They allow you to completely customize the Save-The-Date Cards or invites and the quality lived up to my expectations. I chose the buget paper (but eveyone loves the matte texture- so win!) and the 5×7 invite with envelope ended up costing me approx 50 cents each, the 4×6 RSVP card with envelope approx 46 cents each… plus my own little DIY per invite will push the total for each invite up to about $1.30/pp.
Good luck- there are tons of options out there! (only wish that postage would quite increasing)

I ordered our Save-The-Date Cards (postcard style) from WeddingPaperDivas.com and I ordered our invitations through AnnsBridalBargins (I chose the seal and send kind) and spent roughly $110 for 100 invites.
