Hi there! I live in Charleston but I don’t know exactly how much it would be. But, I thought that I would share this website with you–I know that many brides-to be-use this to estimate the cost of their wedding. http://www.costofwedding.com/index.cfm/action/costest.index
Oh, btw I think you mean Charleston, SC not NC

@fitzie9909: I see this is your first post on WBee… so Hi and Welcome to “The Hive”
Your Question is a bit vague… honestly Weddings can cover a huge range of possibilities, and costs are reflective on WHAT it is you want to do.
Your best bet is to build yourself a Spreadsheet (you can find “samples” on line) for the things you’ll want to have / Expenses you’ll incur and then start doing some research.
For example, we are marrying in nearby Myrtle Beach (ocean front) … and research has told me that a South Carolina Marriage License will cost us $ 100 (Horry County / Myrtle Beach), an Officiant anywhere between $ 100 and $ 500 (depending on WHERE we marry in regards to venue… and IF there are any “extras” to our pacakge).
Add in… Venue Rental – Decor – Flowers – Photography – Music etc and the Ceremony itself can be all over the map cost wise depending on HOW MUCH you want.
So even with something so basic as the “getting married” part there is a wide range of cost.
And we haven’t even touched on… Transportation – Reception Venue – Reception Decor – More Flowers – Food – Cake – Music / DJ etc.
Most Destinations have either Magazines or Websites that are dedicated to organizing Weddings in their city / locale… you can GOOGLE – Charleston Weddings – to find out more info
In our case, we are having an Elopement / Destination Wedding, so that is how I began my research as far as finding WHAT was out there for Myrtle Beach
Hope this is helpful,
