Hi, everyone. I’m a journalist and I’m writing a story on the benefits or drawbacks to getting your engagement rings at Costco. Would anyone be willign to share their stories? I’d need to interview you, of course. You can message me or reply here and I’ll give you my contact info?
I had heard that rings at Costco were of good value. Without my knowing, my Fiance searched high and low for a perfect ring and after price shopping and comapring- he bought it at Costco!
I love the ring and was so happy with it. This past weekend I took it to a local jewler to get it resized. The Jewler was so surprised, the Costco apprasal said the ring was VS-2 or better and my jewler said my ring was “or better!” Basically he could not see and inclusions on the ring and thought it was a beautiful cut and clarity. He was a little surprised to know it came from Costco! He even had the other guy come check the ring and they checked to make sure it was real. They were really shocked.
It makes me happy that I have a high quality ring and my Fiance paid for it in full, without having to finance it (it was affordable for him) and yet is is probably worth much more than the cost.
I would highly recommend a ring from there and I plan to buy our wedding bands there.
My Costco ring, taken with my cell phone. Princess cut center diamond that is 0.75 (I think) and total with all the side diamonds 0.85 or somethign similar.
When we were looking for my engagement ring one of the first places we went to was Costco. The rings there were beautiful! There were lots to choose from in a variety of styles and sizes, all at fair prices. We didn’t end up getting my ring from there but that was only because the sales person there didn’t seem to really want to help us and I refuse to give that much money to someone who doesn’t want to help me.
COSTCO has some nice rings.
My ring is from Costco and I love it! My Fiance wanted to get the best and biggest diamond for the money, and he was between Costco and Blue Nile. When it came down to it, he was able to get a bigger and better quality diamond for the same price at Costco. We had the ring appraised, and the diamond is actually bigger than was advertised by Costco. They have a system where they say that “your diamond is no less than __ carats”. This means that you could luck out like I did and get a bigger rock for your money! Costco also has a lifetime return policy, which is a pretty nice guarantee. I’m hoping to get my wedding band there too bc they have a matching one to my e ring. 🙂
