I know this has been spoken of before but I need some help. My Darling Husband is growing our flowers but is kind of spazing about the fact he doesn’t think they will be done in time and that we will not have enough. If you could please answer the following I would be much obliged!
What Bee’s used Costco to order flowers?
How far in advance did you order them?
How many did you order and what kind?
And last, how much did it cost you?

What Bee’s used Costco to order flowers? I did!
How far in advance did you order them? I think about 2-3 weeks
How many did you order and what kind? I ordered 200 roses & 30 hydrangeas
And last, how much did it cost you? I think I spent around $250…I’m already forgetting!!
They came a day earlier than expected (Thurs, when I requested Fri, my wedding was Sunday). I was in a panic, as they looked kind of smooshed & I was afraid they’d wilt before Sunday. I prepped all the flowers & trimmed the stems, and put them in 5 gallon buckets of super cold water in a bathroom with the air conditioning blasting. If the water got warmer, I dropped in an ice cube or two. They perked right up, and looked GREAT. I called CS because I was upset that they’d been delivered early. Apparently, that was part of the contract I had okayed during my online order. They were very helpful, though, and said if any were to wilt, they’d arrange for me to get new ones from a local Costco. Also, 2 rose heads were broken in transit, and they refunded me on the spot. I definitely recommend them for the price, quality & the customer service.

I’m ordering from them next week!! Super nervous about it though haha
I guess they told my furture sister n law that they are about $51 for a box of 6 dozen roses.. and we’re planning on buying 2 boxes worth. I wanted Gerbera Daisies too, but they were 50 something for only like 4 flowers.. which is a lot of daisies.. but I honestly don’t think that I would need that many lol so I have to figure it out still..

What Bee’s used Costco to order flowers? My cousin did and mentioned it was a nightmare.
How far in advance did you order them? Dont know how early in advance.
How many did you order and what kind? She ordered quite a few, she wanted ALL pink roses. And she received different shades of pink and different rose types. Costco does not guarantee color shades, pink is pink.
And last, how much did it cost you? Don’t know how much she paid….Her main issue was that her wedding day was a Saturday, flowers were delivered 2 days before wedding. They don’t store them in refrigerator or keep them for you. And they don’t deliver them on Fridays or Saturdays (double check your contract) I believe it’s only on Wednesday or Thursdays. So have a plan on where to store your flowers for the meantime if your wedding is on a Saturday.
Hope it helps, not sure if all Costcos are the same.

Thanks a ton!!! Sounds like Costco has very reasonable prices. I think I will go and check them out next week.

What Bee’s used Costco to order flowers? I Did!
How far in advance did you order them? About a month in advance. I ordered them from the store, not online.
How many did you order and what kind? I ordered 20 dozen roses, and they let me specify what type of rose to avoid getting different kinds – I’m getting all Freedom Roses (bright red).
And last, how much did it cost you? It’s going to cost me $17.99 per two dozen – ridiculously cheap!
Although my wedding is still a couple of weeks away, I have no hesitation to say that I’m absolutely positive this will go well. I get to pick them up from the store on the Friday before my wedding, and our Costco always has amazing roses. They’re going to keep them in the back cooler for me until I get there, and then we’re going to go to the hall and turn them into centerpieces and put them in water right away. I’m really excited about it!
But I think I’d be hesitant to order online because they do deliver to your doorstep and there isn’t a guaranteed delivery time or rose type. The lady I talked to at our Costco was really helpful!

We used Costco flowers as well. Saved a *ton* of money doing it. And they looked fabulous! We bought the roses and cala lillies. If I could give advice, I’d say that you should buy the cala lillies several days in advance because they don’t arrive fully opened, and they were un-opened for our wedding. I think someone else had left that feedback on a review of the lillies. But they were still pretty nonetheless. Good luck!!!

I ordered 125 bicolour roses. I ordered them 2 weeks prior to my wedding, and scheduled them to be delivered the Friday before the wedding. They showed up on Thursday morning, from a truck that was not refrigerated. I was not home at the time, so they just dropped them as they don’t require a signature.
I spoke to someone in store who told me the roses will be only partially opened when they are shipped, and to put them in cold water, and store them in a cold room overnight and they will be mostly open for the wedding. The in store flowers were beautiful, and the florist was very knowledgable, she gave me full confidence in them.
By the time I opened them, they were all fully opened and some were already browning on the edges. I unwrapped them and 10 heads fell off the stems.
I was so dissapointed. I called customer service and they put me through to some nursery in Miami.
I posted a negative review on the website, but mysteriously, it was never published.
They were very cheap, but a situation where you get what you pay for. Would not recommend them to anyone.
