Hi! Im quite new here to this site, so Im not quite sure if this is even where i should be posting this LOL, but ill give it a go! Im making my own bouquets, bouts, and centerpieces. Ive already decided that im going with bulk roses at Costco. So, my question is, how far in advance do i order them? Im not buying them online, since i want 50 white roses/50 red roses, and they dont have that option online. They gave me a number to call, but its been three days since Ive left them a voicemail! Any help is reatly appreciated! Thanks ladies!

We ordered our flowers from Costco and were able to get 50 red/50 white roses. It was a single box with 100 stems total, 50 of each color. I wish I could remember what they called it … mixed roses or something like that I think. Our wedding was in August if that helps … maybe they changed their online availability or something … ?
I’m not sure about ordering via phone, but I know online we ordered them about a week out and that was pushing it. You choose the date you want them to arrive and they only give you a 7 day in advance window (ie if you want your flowers to arrive next Tuesday, the 25th, you need to order them no later than TODAY the 18th).
I’m not sure if I answered your question at all, but I hope that helps a little bit …

I know you want Costco, but here’s another option for you in case you’re not sure about when to order them. I have helped two brides DIY their centerpieces by going to the LA Flower District. There are warehouse upon warehouse filled with flowers, vases, supplies, and everything you could possibly need for any kind of party. It certainly beats the “dollar store look”. Their prices are competitive, if not CHEAPER than Costco! The only thing is you need to get there after 8, two or three days before your wedding to gather all your stuff. Bring a radio flyer station wagon, or extra people to help you lug all your stuff…and park close if you can. There’s a $1 fee to enter, but it will allow you passage to all the warehouses.
These are the district’s PUBLIC hours (anything before is for professionals florists)
LA flower district hours:
Mon & Wed: 8-12
Tues & Thurs: 6-11

Or you could try Sam’s Club- they have exactly what you’re looking for.
I think my order had to be in 10 days before, but the web site will tell you.
