Costco cake is amazing. I wouldn’t be disappointed if that’s what was served at a wedding.

Do it!!!!  My sister got married a few years ago – at that time, Costco made cupcakes.  She just had a friend sprinkle colored sugar on top.  They were a hit!  I was going to do the same thing but they no longer sell cupcakes. I was STILL going to use a Costco sheet cake (we love Costco) but a friend offered to make the cake and it was gorgeous.

Normally, the cake that is decorated and displayed for people to see isn’t what is actually served.  The guests get that cake but from a sheet cake in the back.  I see no reason for not using the Costco cake (just be prepared for your venue/cateres to still charge you for slicing it.)

Also, if anybody tells you that Costco cakes have been frozen (don’t know if that is true or not), most wedding cakes have been frozen.

Honestly? The last beautiful tiered Pinterest-worthy wedding cake I was served was horrible to the point of inedible –dry, mealy, and tasted like sand. Costco cake is delicious. Go for it!

Love Costco cake!  Had it at my bridal shower and no one believed me!

I’m all for it! It’s so good, and sooooo sickly you don’t need much to have had enough. 🙂

I would probably decorate it myself though… the balloons they put on it at my Costco probably wouldn’t match my theme! 😉

I would go for cupcakes and a smaller cake for cutting from Costco (if it were me)! Like a PP’s said I would decorate the cake/cupcakes myself, you can match your wedding colours or add flowers/other decorations. Possibly some tiered plates (not sure if that is what they are actually called, but that gets my idea across!) with cupcakes on them? I would be happy with any cake  as a guest to be honest. I’m pretty sure my cousin rented a fake cake actually now that I think back!

I know of a couple who used a Costco cake. Honey it was good!!!  I say it’s a great idea.
